'Environmental Police Force' for polluters & Air Pollution Beijing

Environmental Police Force has been established in Beijing to take actions on people who are responsible for causing any sorts of pollution such as illegal burning of garbage and waste. These special force will track down these illegal activities that are carried out against environment. 'These acts of non-compliance with regulations are actually the result of lax supervision and weak law enforcement', said the Mayor Cai Qi.
It is found that the main reason for pollution is the excessive use of coal in winter. Government had taken necessary actions to and has also passed laws to prosecute those who exceed the pollution emission level.
'China's continuing reliance on fossil fuels, especially in the north, made the fight against pollution difficult,' China's environment minister Chen Jining said on Friday.
Above all China's increased population is yet another main reason for air pollution. World Bank released a report on China's policy on controlling pollution. The report stated that 'hundreds of thousands of premature deaths and incidents of serious respiratory illness are caused by exposure to industrial air pollution. Seriously contaminated by industrial discharges, many of China's waterways are largely unfit for direct human use'.
